The 2026 championships ran in early August. Bow Cycle listed these venues:
Time trial: from Weedon Pioneer Hall, north of Cochrane
Road race: start and finish at Wolfe Calgary
Criterium: in Bowness, as part of the Tour de Bowness
The 2027 courses are not published yet. With the same organiser and city, the format may be similar, but wait for the technical guide before you plan around specific courses.
Categories and licences
In 2026 riders raced in Masters A to D groups, and titles were awarded in five-year age bands from 35 up. Road race distances ranged from about 70 km for the oldest groups and the women’s field to about 105 km for Masters A. In 2025 the technical guide required a UCI licence, with no domestic or one-day licences, and the Canadian Champion title went to riders of Canadian nationality. Confirm the 2027 rules in the technical guide when it comes out.
Registration and information
Event updates are on Bow Cycle’s championship page and on Cycling Canada’s site. We will add the 2027 technical guide, courses and entry link to this page when they are published.
Racing Nationals with reset cc
Canadian Masters Nationals is on our calendar for our Canadian riders. It is a race, not a team camp. It falls three weeks before the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships, so your coach plans it as part of your final build, and you enter and travel directly.
