Sudety Tour 2027: dates, course and qualifying
The Sudety Tour is a UCI Gran Fondo World Series qualifier on the border of the Czech Republic and Poland, with a hill climb time trial on Saturday and a road race from Broumov on Sunday. It joined the World Series in 2026. The terrain is rolling with little flat road, and the road race crosses into Poland.

The road race course
On the 2026 route the race left Broumov behind a 1.8 km neutral start and headed north into Poland. The best known climb is Vysoká Srbská at around km 36, about 1 km of cobbles at an average of 10% and up to 15%. Later there is a long climb of about 10 km at 5% through the forest below Szczeliniec Wielki between Radków and Karłów. The Mediofondo splits from the Granfondo at around km 56, and the Granfondo continues on a larger loop before finishing in Broumov. The organiser’s roadbook flags a switchback descent at around km 24 and a narrow descent at Česká Metuje.
The time trial course
The 2026 time trial in Radków was 10.6 km. After a short flat start it climbed for about 7 km at 5.5%, from about 375 m to 771 m. It suits riders who can hold their threshold on a long, steady climb.

Qualifying for Gran Fondo Worlds
Under the current UCI Gran Fondo World Series rules, the top 25% of riders who start in each age group qualify, and the first three always qualify. Each event counts for its own discipline at Worlds, so the weekend gives you a chance at both the time trial and the road race.

Sudety is a race on our calendar, not a team camp. You enter and travel directly. The nearest airports are Wrocław, about 110 km away, and Prague, about 155 km. Your coach plans the build and both race days with you, and the race fits two weeks before the Girona team camp.
