My Story
I did my first bike race when I was 11 years old and got dropped. Hard. I've bonked more times than I can count, crashed in corners, overtrained, underfueled, and yes, found myself 20 to 30 pounds overweight more than once. I've lived every failure you'll face as an athlete.
I'm sharing this because somewhere between all those setbacks, I figured it out. I won a national championship. Finished top 10 at world championships. Won dozens of races. But more importantly, I learned how to build systems that work for real athletes with real lives.
For five years, I built and led Team EF Coaching, developing the systems behind a world tour-level coaching program. I worked with doctors, scientists, and ex-professional athletes to create training systems that have served thousands of athletes. Before that, I served as CMO at CINCH Cycling, where I helped architect the program and operations.
I've coached one-on-one with athletes who've gone from their first group ride to winning national titles, qualifying for gran fondo world championships, and transforming their lives through sport. I've helped everyday people become high performance athletes, optimize their body composition, race at world championships, and live healthier, more fulfilled lives.
Here's what I learned: high performance isn't reserved for the genetically gifted or those with unlimited time. It's built on structure, science, and the willingness to embrace the process. Most athletes fail not because they lack talent, but because they lack the right systems and someone who's walked the path before them.
